read trn log backup files

What product is out there that can read a Transaction Backup file?
A restore was done but they didn't apply a couple of transaction logs. I
need to see what data is in these backup logs. If there is a product that
can do this can it apply the data from the logs or dump it to a file?
Thanks.

Read MDF

is there any way of opening an MDf file into some sort of
readable format? we had our server crash on us and the
backup/ restore is not working. I only have the mdf file
for the database and was wondering if i could get this
into some sort of formatting i could open and manually add
our old database back in as it only had a few details in.
thanks
simon
Hi
No. Have you tried sp_attach_single_file_db?
Failing that, phone MS PSS.

An sp_attach_single_file_db is only guarenteed to work is

hi,
is there any SP or Tsql statment can read the logical
files name from backup files.
I know i can use RESTORE FILELISTONLY but i need to access
the files name and use them on a script.

Re : Restore table from Transaction Log

Hi,
After I copied some views from other database, I lost all records in five
tables. Unfortunely, I didn't have the backup file.
I tried to use Lumigent to restore from the Transaction log, and three of
them have been recovered successfully. But still have two tables cannot
restore.
Anyone can share some ideas how to restore the rest two.
Many many many thanks!Hi
Copying views will not delete data or drop tables, I can only assume that
you have scripted the view and it's dependent objects from Enterprise
Manager. In which case I think you should be able to restore all the tables
using the Lumigent product.
Failing that, as you don't have a backup, then the tables must be on the
system you scripted the view from.
